i wish i could unwatch this i am never one to review a movie online but this one was so astonishingly bad i couldn’t help myself. usually rom coms have a redeeming quality, but i truthfully couldn’t find one in this film. there was zero chemistry between any of the characters. i honestly didn’t find any of them likable….like at all? lol i also couldn’t stand how soft spoken laura dern was. i found myself constantly saying HUH (alone, to myself 😂) while watching. the plot seemed to be just a big long-winded attempt to justify cheating and romanticize the ick-inducing age gap trope. no character growth/depth, no real insight into the relationship dynamic between owen and lily, overdone storyline. sorry to be harsh but the people must be warned 😆
