I really enjoyed The Magicians series and was excited to pick this novel up. The book is a unique take on Authurian legends. The first third was slow, but it then took off. Overall I would highly recommend the book.

It was fine I guess. The writing is a bit lazy and people constantly make decisions that don't make sense. There is a romance thrown in at the end between two peripheral characters in episode 6 that comes from nowhere. The twist of who has powers makes no sense. The final battle is a CGI mess. Overall it was a waste of time. I don't see how people could give this four or five stars.
