A really strong and promising premise which initially was well-developed, before a bit of a descent into a very far-fetched odyssey. By the final third I was more annoyed and overwhelmed than intrigued. There were a substantial amount of random character introductions which appeared cliche- without giving lots away a gangster don, a rich matriarch, good-cop/bad-cop duo. The plot relating to the fertility issue and clinic was a little hard to follow to the point of frustration.
