7 seasons with 13 episodes each was excessive. The film was a real crap-shoot... literally. There were flashbacks of the key characters before they committed the crimes that sent them to federal prison. However, no explanation of any of the crimes committed was ever provided to the viewer. The film was filled with porn, which seems to be how Netflix flies, anymore. The two main characters, Piper and Alex, were 2 of the least likable in the series. Selfish, self-serving, narcissistic, and self-destructive personalities to the end. The ending leaves the viewer with a WTF? I am rather amazed that the series has received such good reviews. The most redeeming characters were Joe Caputo and Tastee. Caputo is the new scapegoat in the film for women who conjure up inappropriate sexual overtures, when there were none, but Caputo comes to agree he had to have done something inappropriate to have a particular woman accuse him of aggressive sexual behavior. Tastee was found guilty of killing an officer, even though she was innocent. She is told to hold onto hope that she will be granted an appeal, which she never gets, but instead, assured she will spend her life in prison. I give the series a F! The good people in the series pretty much get screwed! I do feel the film is extremely racist!
