(Contains spoilers) Saw is one of my favourite movie franchises but this just left me feeling disappointed. I know I had high expectations after spiral but everything felt very predictable and a lot of the time it didn’t feel like the traps were designed for the victims crimes and were just made to create a reaction from the audience. Also, because it was canonically made before johns death (and Amanda’s involvement in it) it was extremely obvious he was never in any danger so the scene felt pointless and the kid getting involved was just an unnecessary and cheap way of getting a reaction. Overall it’s not as bad as previous saw films but isn’t the best
