My wife and I had been looking forward to this movie from the time it was announced. As we had seen almost every movie in the X-men franchise and avengers franchise, we were expecting so much more. The pacing of the movie is bad, with too many events going on at once and a lack of actual character development. The villain of the movie appears from no where, barely explains its motivation, and then is crushed systematically by heroes. Over all pretty boring. The dark Phoenix from X-men 3 was so much better.
