Beautiful location, I loved the styling and casting, also glad it wasn’t a splatter movie, just a thriller.haha
(Pretty violent though)
The main reason I went to see this movies was because the main cast was Anya Tyler-Joy. I really like her act, somewhat mysterious, a bit bitter and annoying sometimes, and I usually either love or hate the character she performs.
In this movie, I wasn’t sure if I would like her character first, but eventually I really liked it all towards the end of the movie.
The chef, too. His character was pretty much predictable for all audiences I assume, yet I liked how he talked to and treat all the guest and Margo overall, that was interesting.
But some others’ behavior were a bit too typical in this kind of movies and that was a bit annoying to me.
Also, the ending was a bit too simple …hmmm?
(Not sure, maybe it was still perfectly finished from the chef’s view )
*these are the only reasons I gave 4 starts instead of 5
Understand some people don’t really like this movie if it’s not your taste. But such an enjoyable movie, should have higher rating on Google.
Anyway, my hubby and I both liked this show. He had been hesitant before we went but actually got pretty into it and satisfied after watching.
Some say it’s not worth spending money in the theater, but I’m glad we did, I really enjoyed the beautiful film in big screen.
I don’t mind watching again if it’s on TV.
