Exceptionally well made and well researched film, depicting quite accurately an era of contemporary history- yes all this transpired just a out half a century ago. Excellent acting - remarkable music- the poetry hits you in the solar plexus and the heart simultaneously. How unjust, divisive and oppressive the cast system is and how unlikely that vengeance cede to humanity- people have the potential to be humane, loyal even just but are no match for the vicelike web of life and their social reality that has them shackled and trapped.

Very contrived- it appeared the directors were trying too hard to impress- each one of them is capable of much much better. The stories were week- Dibankar's was better than the others.
