I keep watching From to see if the writers will figure out how to untangle their own mess. From the lack of momentum, to the constant addition of meaningless literary devices, to the endless parade of repetitive, two-character scenes in which they whine about topics they whined about in the previous episode (and I won't not even get started to the actors, who can't hide that they're trying hard to manufacture emotions--but I blame that on the writing) From is an exercise in tedium. Yet, I still watch because, maybe, they're hiding the ultimate plot twist; maybe From is really about writers, stuck in a room, writing against a deadline, and then they go on strike, and then they come back to work, and then they just decide From was just a dream. The end.
