As I looked down the reviews for the first two episodes of Ahsoka I was amazed at all the Disney bashing rather than discussion of the episodes themselves (Disney does this, Disney does that). Yes. The pacing was a little slow at the beginning, and the reason was story exposition (that's kind of obvious). Other comments about the ship captain not believing that the person coming aboard was a Jedi (Jedi's were apparently wiped out over 25 years before and Luke's fame as a Jedi was not well known so were his reactions so strange????). Other comments that the show was centered on Sabine Wren too much and not Ahsoka. Wait! the title of the episode was Master and Apprentice. Hmm.. Shocking that they'd show both equally in a show titled like that. There's so many other comments (like there were not any male Jedi in the show) Who cares? Did no one hear about Order 66? At that time, Luke is searching the whole galaxy looking for the Jedi and only found Grogu. But no, it must be evil Disney influences.. not kidding but one of the reviews actually said that. Anyway, I watched Star Wars in 1977 in a theater in my home town and it blew my mind and has continued to make me feel good ever since. I consume everything Star Wars, from books, to comics to the movies and episodic tv. I'm certainly not going to watch one or two episodes of ANYTHING and make a decisiion. I enjoyed it but I also know it takes time to tell a story. Just remember that any Star Wars movie or trilogy if shown in episodic tv would seem slow from time to time and you wouldn't get the full story in the first hour of any movie. Just enjoy it.
