Treva Egizii

The movie starts out rather slow and seems to drag. The most enjoyable character for me was Jack and the lamp lighters dance in the middle of the movie is the best scene through out the movie. Emily Blunt’s portrayal of the beloved Mary Poppins is rather harsh and her character lacks warmth. She seems condescending and stuck up rather than the original endearing, loving nanny to the children in the original. I did not expect the movie to meet the phenomenal success as the original but I also did not expect the coldness that permeated this return. A disappointment.
