I binge-watched this series while recovering from surgery. It was the best medicine. I loved watching the characters develop over time, and especially loved how they treated sexuality and relationships so openly. But this series made me laugh, and cry, and inspired me, often in the same episode. Beautifully done!

Insightful and meaningful. Slavery and Jim Crow have not disappeared, rather just evolved.
