This movie has pretty good public reception right now. I don’t understand why. I think maybe I’m just desensitized from years of horror binges. The concept of this movie is nothing very new, the story is horribly dull, there’s a lot of predictable moments as the film marches on, and the ending was extremely anticlimactic and disappointing. The film has good visuals , the acting is well done and the concept is inherently interesting but it’s not delved into enough to fill the curiosity about it. For how hyped this movie is right now, I was very disappointed about how much of a dud it was. This reminds me of other shitty found footage horror movies from the early 2000s, just with a bigger budget and good cinematography. Not worth paying money to see, wait till it streams.
