Incredible and amazing ~ I'm still processing what I saw ~ finding words to describe is difficult. I wish everyone could see it.

After LOVING Aden Young in RECTIFY - in my opinion one of the best ever - I naturally wanted to see more of him so...I am half way through RECKONING and not loving it. It is engrossing and I will finish it but feel it lacks the depth of other detective shows like TRUE DETECTIVE, THE SINNER, BROADCHURCH to name just a few. Hard to say what is most lacking; from the reviews here, it's not going to get better at the end. Looking forward to Aden's next project - hopefully something with at least some redeeming social value! The actors are good, the kids are the best so I guess its the writing that's not doing it for me.
