This show honestly blew me away! The flow of this story is so memorizing despite never reading the book series,I went into the show blind and knowing a few details about the source material and it exceed everything I thought I knew about vampires. The two main leads are phenomenal! They brought everything and adding a little of their own touch to the characters made them so much more realistic that I sometimes forget this show is about a toxic love story between two angst y beautiful male vampires that have more chemistry than all of the vampire diaries and twilight combined. I do like the social commentary plus the racial dynamics and showing same-sex love in the good but also the grim plus not shying away from mature topics. Season 1 may be done but we are only just starting. I cannot wait for Season 2 and more seasons from this amazing rendition/remix of Miss Rice's iconic world. 10/10. Recommend it.
