Please can Monty Don issue a warning to gardening viewers to be vigilant when using strimmers and check first under shrubs and bushes or compost heaps & Bonfires for sleeping hedgehogs and Hoglets. Monty Don was using a lethal strimmer on Friday August 20th to cut long grass he should've warned gardeners re the use of strimmers that kill and maim the hedgehogs and their hoglets. Withington Hedgehog Care Trust in Manchester are getting hundreds in badly injured with the loss of limbs and worse. Our endangered wildlife are under threat. Barbara Elizabeth Roberts who takes in 100's and saves so many that would've died runs this hedgehog hospital. Please Monty tell your viewers to check compost heaps, Bonfires etc. Thank you
