Not the best show of its genre. Definitely not the worst show of its genre. Some of the acting is suspect but there's also very good acting by certain individuals. If you're looking for historical accuracy, don't watch it. However it is kind of loosely based on historical events. The CGI is middle of the road. Not the best CGI, certainly not the worst. So with that in mind I give it an average 3 stars. It really does hang in there as an average show when compared to similar shows of its genre. If you're thinking that this compares to Game of Thrones as far as storyline, random events that leave you guessing every twist and turn, then you're in for a big disappointment. However it's not the worst. This honestly is a middle of the road cinematic TV show. If I could give it 2.5 Stars I would. Is it a waste of time watching it? I would say no. I was somewhat entertained by it and to be honest, there aren't that many shows that I'm interested in at the moment so it's a yes from me. However I can see many people not wanting to spend the time investing into this story.

Bad acting, corny, ridiculous and lazy execution of the storyline with many cut corners, terrible acting in the fight sequences...for example..you can easily see the kicks and punches as acting and baseball bats tapping flesh like someone tapping your shoulder to get attention etc... BUT I like the characters and the storyline itself (not the execution of the storyline but the actual storyline as a whole) is good. Which means I'm going to carry on watching and enjoying it and I'll be laughing at the fight scenes and acting. 3 stars
