Have watched DOOL for over 50 years. It has always been one of my favorite daytime soaps. However, I hope that the writers, producers would please keep race and politics out of the show. I understand the need for diversity but bringing both the above mentioned is not necessary. Will need to evaluate how much longer I will be watching if this continues. Scripts are repetitive: someone dies/gets killed, then are brought back to life. Either show needs new writers or something. Used to be when a couple went to bed they went behind closed door and we used our imagination but now a days we see them naked in bed. Maybe going back and reviewing the older shows would trigger the writers to let us use our own thoughts on what happens. I know shows need to keep up to date with story lines, but the same ole, same ole is getting old.
