Important note: How dare the AI description make an error in spelling of the Legend Dianne Wiest?!? Do better, robots.
What an embarrassment. This cast was wasted on a predictable, boring script that reads like first-year drama school. Every scene, every “surprise” as predictable as the next. With every remake and prequel, my adult kids and I like to guess the next scene, sometimes do a multiple choice. We all nailed it. Even my anime-obsessed teenager. It shouldn’t be that easy. Not to mention, what the hell was with the high school prop department Satans? Was that supposed to be scary? I didn’t expect to laugh through half of the movie, and hope the talented Miss Julia can forget this one ever happened. It was gross to see her represented this way.
Overall, waste of time and utter disappointment. The two stars are for the two stars of the film…ugh, that word seems too elevated for this crap.
