Some of these reviews act like the original was this untouchable masterpiece. No. The original was corny, which this movie was undoubtedly aware of and played into the corniness of the original. For the most part, it's actually a solid movie. I would say it's better than the original (I'm old and prefer older movies). The downfall of the film is McGregor’s acting. Connor does not have the “it” factor and over acts his scenes, which makes the movie seem very cheesy during his scenes. Besides that, it was decent.
