It’s just a bait and switch. You think you’re breathing new life into an old favorite by giving it modern animation with an interesting story. It’s just a “Woke” reebot trying to appeal to Netflix’s agenda group. There is nothing wrong with having female leads or giving the side characters more of a role. But you can’t take away the main character within one episode and try to recreate established characters to fit your own agenda.
