I'm a big fan of the MCU. I honestly have no idea why The Marvels did so poorly in the box office. I personally am on a fixed income and theaters are a luxury I rarely indulge in, so I only watched it after its appearance on Disney+. I'd definitely not have felt robbed if I'd payed ticket prices for it, though. My only guesses as to why it's considered a "flop" are that it was female-centered, and that the story line was full of heart. If you're not misogynistic, I don't see why anyone would not consider this a fantastic superhero film.
