This show has the bare bones for success. Excellent setting, overall plot, and potential from actors. Once you realize it’s an old man fantasy of violence, sex, interaction with youth, women’s issues, aging, etc, it’s hard to get past. If there was closer attention to detail with story lines (closing loops and explaining random additions of characters and plot), deeper character development, and a fresher take on the show as a whole (some of it feels stale and outdated)…this show could be absolutely amazing. This show would have been 5/5 fifteen years ago, but we demand more out of tv series today. The show needs some work with addition of acting coaches and better writers.
