I think the movie was very authentic. It covered issues like female oppression and homosexually, topics that are still taboo in both Iranian and Iranian-American communities. Overall I found it funny, illuminating, and touching. If you’re looking for a light-hearted comedy that makes you look at your own community and differences, I would definitely recommend this movie.
