The story was completely lacking both in character development, which was nonexistant, and the larger story of why either side was fighting. Spoilers: It was kept too ambiguous, with no real care for why anyone was doing anything. The supposed good guys are portrayed committing atrocities for the entirety of the film and the journalists don't speak up at all, but just capture 'action shots' instead of commenting on any kind of wrong or morality involved. The military movements and aspects are ridiculous, Apaches flying between buildings as an obvious example. The depiction of war photographers was the worst though, as they don't even try first-aid on fellow journalists or fallen soldiers alike. They aren't apparently interested in the why and 'only take pictuess'. Save your money and pain from enduring this one.
