Way to ruin such a great concept NBC! What a great idea for a show. Take real cars and make them into a version of Hot Wheels with vision from the contestants and the know how of top of line fabricators. Legit judges that know what they are doing and a fun host that knows cars better then most. But then ruin it by following the formulaic show that chokes out any originally. Make sure there is a sob story for every contestant, they cannot make it on the show without one. Spend time trying to pretend that a time clock down to zero a last sec finish on every build. Add segments that have no relation to the build of cars and make sure you spend time talking about the build story instead of the actual build. Don't actually show the full fabrication, just manufactured drama issues. This could be a great show.

Bad plot - just all previous movies regurgitated. Bad acting - which is a shame since there are some good actors in it. Blame the horrible writing a d plot. I have seen better grade school plays!
