Before watching this film I had heard that it was one of Brendan Fraser's best performances. Right from the start of the movie I was reeled in, and I couldn't look away. The raw, sometimes explosive emotions from the characters were very well portrayed. I remember seeing the trailer for it ages ago and all I could think was "That looks like a movie that's going to make me cry." And I will admit it did. I don't want to go into loads of detail here because it's absolutely worth watching. The cast performances were excellent.
