A pretty good read. However, I find the inner dialogue of Lieutenant Kinderman long-winded and repetitive. I get it... The guy is waxing philosophy on the meaning of life. Great. I don't need whole pages on this line of thought. The plot is good, but there's a whole lot of unnecessary words in this book.
