Krishna Mani

This movie is both motivating and eye-opening to the reality of many students, to people of colour, to people living in the streets, poverty, drug crime, gang culture etc. It shows how powerful a person's influence on others can be; how teachers can change the lives of others, ways students can deal with their emotions and how different yet similar they all are. This is a truly incredible movie I really loved it, especially since it's based on a true story it makes it extra more amazing; the love Erin (the teacher) had for her students and her will to make them better people and help them out is truly inspiring and beautiful, she's a role model! Huge respect for her! ( the real teacher who this was based off, Erin Gruwell)
