Watch this movie! It’s amazing and I found it to be utterly relatable. Took me back to my 13 yr old self. I read a lot of the negative reviews and the basis for a lot of the negative reviews seemed to stem from their own sexist, racist, narrow minded views on how society is supposed to be. Sean O’Connell said as a white man, he couldn’t relate. I guess when the world is catered to mainly him, he is incapable of seeing a movie that’s not about a white boy. I have read so many books and movies from the pov of white man, and still found them to be riveting and good. Guess it’s possible. Anyhow, this movie was so good! My husband and I laughed so hard we were tearing up. Oh, and my husband is a white man.
