What are we doing as an audience? Just finding a point to boycott Bollywood movies. Before watching this film "Brahmastra", I saw the ratings, reviews given by the public. Definately I had seen some positive reviews about this movie, but 70% of the audience posted negative comments, finding very small and lame reasons to mention anything negative about this movie.
When I saw this movie tonight, I felt like this movie wants to take Bollywood in a new genre. And the whole team gave their best to do so. Before this, I haven't seen Bollywood producing movies with such an amazing VFX and animations. Music albums were fantastic. Chemistry between Alia bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor for obvious reasons was very natural. The pace of the movie worked quite appropriately to the story line.
Overall the movie was just excellent in almost every point of view. But still improvements are required to be made out on the typical things like putting romantic songs and scenes in between any situation, cringe dialogues.
Though, everyone has their own expectations and perspective towards the movie but instead of boycotting Bollywood movies especially Brahmastra which established a new concept in our industry, we should encourage movies like this. We're far away from the Hollywood industry in this concept (vfx, story lines, animations), but atleast an initiative has been taken and we should respect that.
Please go watch this movie. Thanks!
