Its a comedy, family drama film which is a official remake of the korean film Miss Grany. Directed by Nandini Reddy this film pays ode to our grandfathers and grandmothers who struggled to give us the life which we are enjoying today, whom we took for granted or ignored. Absolutely delightful to see Lakshmi garu playing the role of Beakka who is so honest, rude, sarcastic, cute and caring. You relate to her and her character and when she gets second chance to relive her life. Her journey becomes more interesting when she becomes young and tries to do all she aspired to do. Samantha, Lakshmi garu, Rao ramesh, Rajendra parasad garu are good in their roles. At no point you feel bored and are glued to the film till the end thinking what will be next. The highlight of the film is the pure telugu dialouges by Laksmi garu and Samantha along with the beautiful chemistry between Samantha and Rajendra prasad garu. Do watch the film with your family and remmember your grandparents.

Jersey is a an emotional sports film set in 1980's and 90's which is very close to reality. The film deals with the stuggles of a cricketer, Arjun, played by Nani who decides to leave cricket at the age of 26 when he doesnt make it to the Indian team despite having good track record. Since he is married and has a son he takes up a government job. He gets falsely involved in corruption case and gets suspended thus forcing him to sit at home. His wife runs the house with her salary and they try to get their ends meet like this for 10 years. One fine day Arjun's son asks him to gift a jersey for his birthday and Arjun's life takes a new course. Arjun tries hard but with no other source of money he finally decides to play a friendly match to get some money on being persued by his coach. Arjun's son sees a hero in his father and arjun re-discovers himself and intents to play to get into the Indian team. Though he is 36 now, his coach motivates him to achieve his goal. Arjun succesfully plays Ranji for Hyderabad's team and leads them to victory but dies after the final match. To everyone's surprise Arjun had heart problem and on doctors insistance he had left cricket before. But since his son saw a hero in him when everyone wrote him off as a loser, he decides to pursue cricket again for his son and dies eventually.Nani, shradha srikanth,Rihan and satyaraj play pivotal roles in the film and have done a good job. Any sportsperson will relate to this film as many aspire for sucess but very few get it. This story is also a similar one which you will love watching.

After a long time have seen such a comedy detective based thriller movie, which touches upon serious subject like religious crime. It is a good movie which till the end keeps the suspense alive. Naveen Polishetty and Shruti sharma are good in their characters. Also the the story seems closer to reality and there are no over the top scenes or bigger than life instances. This way the it feels real and people can connect with the film and characters immediately. Pleasr do watch this film for its comedy and different story telling.

Vivek Agnihotri through Tashkent files has tried to answer those questions which most of us have posed while growing up on how an Indian Prime Minister(PM) died in a foreign country. How just hours after signing an treaty with its neighbouring country on which it won a war, Shastri died and there was no suspision to even do a post mortem. The film raises the right questions and tries to provide answers to those which have not even been mentioned in our history books. The film is backed by facts and sources have also been mentioned in the film. You can verify these yourself if you need more clarity on what transpired during and after Shastri's death. More importantly the film surely brings to light the contributions of Mr Shastri and celebrates him.Hopefully Oct 2nd will be remembered for Shastri Jayanti as well. The casting is good with Pankaj Tripathi, Pallavi Joshi , Mithun Chakravorty, Mandira Bedi, Nassarudin Shah and Shweta Basu doing justice to their roles. The screenplay and dialogues are apt and make the viewers completely engrossed in the film. Suggest to watch this film to understand our history better.

Mission Mangal is a good movie which every Indian should see and be proud off. Based on true events, is a simple yet inspiring movie which moves every individual to achieve his/her dream. The film subtly pays tribute to Dr Kalam and his vision of giving wings to ones dream. Vidya is leading the film backed by Akshay, Tapsee, Sonakshi, Sharman, Sanjay and the rest of the crew, showcasing women power. Vidya as usual has done a good job and akshay has delivered another film which instills patriotism and nationalism through the film in people's minds.

Please don't fall for the good ratings and box office collections of the movie and make any judgement. To be honest the main highlight of the film is the second half only. The first half is boring and reminds us of 3 idiots. It also has over the top dialouges and drama. The college scenes doesn't seem relatable. Though it said to be set in Vizag, it is shot in foriegn location. Mahesh babu doesn't seem like the college guy and the transition from a college guy to a CEO of a company isn't clean. Pooja Hegde doesn't have any role apart from adding glamour. Naresh and Jagapati Babu have some role but isn't that noteworthy. The movie had good message but is completely lost in bad screenplay and dialouges. If you can survive the first half some how, the second half is managable.

A fantastic series with a novel and real story that holds audience attention till the last episode. It will enhance our knowledge on the battle of saragrahi, which is worth knowing since its not mentioned in our history books. The casting is apt and each character is sketched very nicely. Moreover, all actors have done a good job right from getting the diction, language, clothes, habits of sikhs/ afghans etc. Definitely worth watching.

It is an awsome film which revolves around pichkoo, a kid who dreams of buidling a toilet, when his own family and friends support open defection. Pichkoo tries hard to convience his father the need for building a toilet and problems associated with open defection but doesnt get any support. He decides to try on his own to save money and build the toilet with his friend Gopi and eventually succeds. The film seems closer to reality since open defection is still very much prevelant in India.

Season 2: It is a very realistic, slow and nice series that is based on the life of a doctor Shreya who is undergoing training in a government hospital and is sent to sitlapur , a rural village to organise a cataract camp. The series depicts her journey and difficulties of a aspiring and truthful doctor who tries to do her duty in the right way without taking any shortcuts.She tries to fight the system but sooner or later finds herself engulfled in it.
