This movie is tough to watch and compelling. If it weren’t for the BLM movement, it may have not been made: too much truth here, that too many white people would rather not hear about. It is beautifully wrought tragic tale.

Watch “Wendy” 2020 updated Peter Pan movie: I thought this little au currant black Peter Pan was so very thoroughly “Peter Pan” with charm and wit and nerve bravado bravery and the courage of his convictions and the young adventurer, Wendy, more like his friend and sister than the mock mother preadolescent girlfriend of the original - all the lost boys just as awkward and joyous and magical as in the dated original - and OH the reimagined Tinkerbell ! 🌟✨🌟✨🌟- it seems some reviewers totally missed her - it was lovely heartfelt tears and smiles and scary and inspiring. I feel bad for those who were turned off by the reality of poverty and working class despair because there was also true joy and happiness there that I think they must’ve missed.
