This movie is not anything like the book and in genrel just a horrible movie they made so many changes to the plot and the main idea that its not even funny. A few minor changes to make into a movie/ show is ok but completely changing the plot is just disrespectful and rude to Rick Riodian who spent like 20 years of his life just on these books and then they came in and like just basically stomped on it. Here are my reasons: Firstly: They just took the names and the genrel idea of the book and completley changed the main plot the place of medusas nothing like what happened in the book and the pearls again nothing like in the book like why was that like mostly their quest because in the book they were lookinh for the lighting theif not the pearls they got handed to them. secondly: where is the ares cabin clarrise and nancy bobbofit like what they are like incredibly important part of like percys character development. thirdly: Why the hell is there a hydra in the movie someone tell me where the hell that scene happens in the book there not even mentioned in the first book let alone there being an entire scene a=of them fighting them. fourthly: wheres the montak cabin wheres grover like finding them there then telling them to leave why did they just sprint to Percy house which if anyone hasn't notice Yancy is a boarding school he doesn't go home to his Mum so why can they run there. fifthly: why was grover chasing after the girls he supposed to be scared not supper brave. Sixly: why was Annabeth and Percy on different capture the flag teams the whole thing is that like annabeth makes percy a like bait for classise and the ares cabin so that luke can get the flag whilst there not paying attenion. But oh wait there isn't a Clarisse or Ares cabin in the movies anyway. seventhly: WHY ARE THEY 16. In the book they are 12 at the end of the series they might be 16 but there is a reason for this so why in the movies did the just age 4 years for the sake of it There are many more but I cant think of them right now.

It is such a good show it is so captivating and so fun to watch. From the first episode you just want to keep watching it. It also has a large age range were its fun for teens to watch along side there parent and have both people enjoy the show. It is also so much truer to the books then the movies ever were and the actors were fonominal and were truly the right pick for the characters. It is no doubt that they really should make a second season! I 100% would recommend this Show to everyone.
