The original plot was definitely Rated R, but they extremely watered-down Thor just as they have done in the past. Hela knocked out Thor’s eye in Ragnarok, in contrast, Gorr The GOD BUTCHER & the NECROSWORD didn’t lay a freaking scratch on Odinson or Jane Foster. Lousy plot at best. A1 humor, but goofy at times (in a bad way). They obviously tried their best to stray away from having Thor from the present, Thor from the past, and Old Man King Thor because it was already done in Spider-Man: No Way Home. The Mighty Thor was definitely mightier than ‘Rightful Heir To The Throne of Asgard.’ I liked the twist with Eternity & Korg’s head. Odinson has yet to show off his cosmic abilities. If I’m comparing this to the Jason Aaron Comic it’s a 2/5 & perhaps the worst MCU film since Thor: The Dark World. You can’t change the core audience of your main character mid-film series from the ones who grew to love him from his first appearance in 2011 to 9-year-olds who don’t even know what they’re watching. Missed the ball. You didn’t even push the limits like Sam Raimi did. Those who give this movie above 3 stars just started watching MCU films December 17th, 2021. All characters played their roles well. You had the opportunity to turn Odinson into The Black Winter or something, but no he’s a semi-depressed adoptive father. Put Waikiki on Deadpool, and cut Robert Eggers a check for Thor 5. Thor 5 Spoiler: Hercules kills Odinson or Hercules has a change of heart and teams up with Thor, but Thor still dies. It’s a joke at this point.
