This series has a male lead who doggedly pursues his (very male) love interest and despite not having any experience in same sex relationship, he accepts his non-platonic feeling quite readily, never hesitating. This is quite refreshing to watch. The drama only has one objective: to show a pure and open love regardless of gender and it has achieved said goal quite spectacularly. The male leads also don't fall into the 'seme' and 'uke' stereotype. They are both equally strong in both personality and physical strength.
