The Marvels turned out to be a lot better than I had anticipated. It was more of a team up movie than a solo superhero sequel and that was probably why it turned out so good. Much better than the first Captain Marvel movie, The Marvels had a good plot, exciting action sequences, fabulous comic relief and a musical element that I was pleasantly surprising. It also had an underlining message about the actions of a “hero” may not always be heroic while villainy may serve some greater purpose and benefit. Great deeper meaning that I did not think would be woven into the is movie that I fully enjoyed and complimented the movie. Lastly, I geeked out at the ending scenes and the inevitable future of the MCU. Go watch this movie!
