Amanda Beet

I have loved just about every Leon Uris novel I've read, but this one is just a vague storyline with characters that aren't well developed and a weird feel. The language is like a 15yo exploring writing a first novel, often confused as to who is talking, or why something is happening. I get the feeling that Leon Uris had a vague idea of a final novel but had lost the ability to write the way he used to. Do yourself a favour and don't bother with this one.
