The movie reminded me of what my late pastor, Bishop William Abney, told us was that, we were all just people that God was working on. He was a well known musician. Our church had well known gospel musicians that came there, the Winans; Andre Crouch, Shirley Caeser, The Clark Sisters, Vickie Winans, Yolanda Adams, The Commission and Marvin Sapp then was part of the church’s choir. Bishop Abney’s nieces and nephews were the DeBarge Family who were also in the music industry. Also, when I talked to some of them if so clear that they were just like all of us. We were clearly taught that all people were imperfect but God was always working on all of us.
