Sooooooo, as someone who watched the show all the time when they were growing up, this was awful. The characters weren't captured properly. The costumes were awful. Seeing how little effort was put into the fashion design was disappointing, especially when a lot of the show is centered around the topic. They did several characters (such as Ghoulia) really dirty with how they portrayed them. The way that they integrated them into modern society was done very poorly. And there was no development between characters, the list goes on and on. But lets be real here, the targeted audience in their eyes is children, trying to create a new generation of monster high lovers. But when you have such a ride or die fan base that have grown up with the show, you gotta pass their test before they pass it to other kids. Making a remake with internet culture is a dangerous game. But in all honesty it probably would have never reached our expectations anyways since they are so high, but they definitely could have done so much better. TLDR: If you're a monster high fan do not watch this, it WILL disappoint.
