The movie was slow to begin with, only to have a disappointing ending. In this day and age, it is sad that black characters are still expected to sacrifice themselves so that others can live happily ever after. To add insult to injury, the time period in which Anthony Mackie's character ends up is problematic, in light of today's social issues. This movie just missed the mark.
