Margaret Brennan should be replaced much less fired. She is unprofessional and rude and gives her guest no time to respond. She need a reality check. She is a radical that offers the American people no peace in her platform. A past response says its best, ‘ Well, I tried watching an old favorite once again. Once again I am feeling angry and agitated. Once again, Ms. Brennan asserts her opinion and then manipulated every interview until she gets them to say something close to her opinion and then she rephrased it to support her opinion. I don’t necessarily disagree with her opinion but I vehemently disagree with her methods and her hyperboles. SHE is the MOST egregious DIVIDER that I have seen in TV. She is not helpful to her own cause and I mourn for the future with this divisiveness that leads to NOTHING being accomplished no matter who is in office. BTW I am not a republican and I did not vote for Trump- just in case you want to dismiss me with those assumptions. The only way to improve our country is to work together as Americans- with tolerance for every race, religion and creed in our glorious melting pot. ✌️ Here’s what I tweeted last time I tried to watch the show, months ago: Once again Ms Brennan makes a statement followed by a video clip meant to support that statement — only, it doesn’t. Mr. Esper’a statement “ I do not support invoking the insurrection act” is NOT equal to Ms. Brennan assertion that Mr. Esper “does not support the insurrection act.” Once again I had to search the original speech to find that , indeed, Mr. Esper expressed the opinion only that the act was not necessary at this time. Once again, confirmation that I cannot trust what the media says. Would that I didn’t have to work and I could watch each and every speech in its entirety so that I could know what people actually did say. ( believing what they say requires a whole new level of research. ) I used to watch Face the Nation faithfully every Sunday but the anger these “twists of truth” evoke is not healthy and runs my entire morning. My personal opinion about the insurrection act is totally unimportant to the point of this thread. I just want some source somewhere that tells the unbiased truth and trusts me to make my own decisions!!! So disheartened !!’
