The book is okay. I didn't find it terribly funny. It was a fluff read. Not a book I would care to own or re-read. It reads quick and is a bit of a diversion. Ever just grab a sandwich for a simple dinner? This was like that. Not terribly satisfying but takes the edge off of hunger.

So much was predictable.
The last quarter of the book started to get interesting when the main character thought she was being haunted but alas it wasn't a haunting just a disgruntled employee from her publisher. I wanted to like this book but it was not a satisfying read.

This was not a very satisfying read. The setting had potential but the characters seemed flat and uninteresting. The tie in to the history of the setting was fairly lacking depth. I would not recommend this book.

This is a fine book to borrow from the library but glad I didn't buy it. Reminded me of a weeknight tv show. An okay diversion but not that interesting. All of the characters are unlikeable. The motivations for murder seem weak almost cliche. Seemed predictable. Not sure why this book is so hyped.
