The writers must think we're REALLY stupid. The premise and set-up of the show is intriguing, and the first few episodes are fantastic! As the show progresses, though, the number of incredibly obvious plot holes was mind-bogglingly painful. I had to pause the show a few times when they were so utterly, agonizingly obvious. If not for that, I would have definitely given it 5 stars. ****SPOILERS**** The music box key lets them tell someone to do something, and they HAVE to do it. Why was this NEVER used in a useful way?? Sam?? "Well lady??" Why do they let Ellie take the crown key with her back to the house, where she KNOWS LUCAS IS LIVING??? It's literally so obvious that Lucas will just take the key and use the crown. Honestly, what's more frustrating is that the writers must think we're all so dumb that we'll just be like "Wait, what?? HE showed up? nO WaY!!" The fact that they really pushed Ellie through the door, not the well lady, was SO obvious as soon as we realize Ellie is missing, but they NEVER realize it. Have they just completely forgotten there's a key that can make you look like anyone, and Lucas/Well Lady is constantly using it??? The fact that they don't even mention it as a possibility is jaw-droppingly idiotic. I could go on, but I'm getting annoyed all over again just writing about it. Aside from this, the show is well done. But I just can't believe how incredibly unobservant, or just flat out stupid, the writers must think us viewers are.
