My girlfriend and I couldn't make it to the end of season 1, episode 1.
The show had it's woke Hand of Sauron all over it from the very beginning. Uninteresting, diverted greatly from the literature with a Disney-esque narrative just to appeal to the current day crowd. Another unappealing cash grab that will be passed over. Don't bother.
