The three stars is for the decent acting from the actors. The movie is anti-human and anti-woman. The main female decided to alter her fetus to become an android, who was later labeled as "the one" to be used to win the war for either the androids or the humans, and the fact did not bother her husband, the role played by John David Washington. He seemed to be more in love with her than she was for him. The acting of their love relationship was unbelievable and unaffectionate from the character of John David Washington's character. The androids are oppressed while their human makers are both their oppressors and persecutors. The androids can make more of themselves, too, and have hidden refuge from their oppressors, who schemed a public lie of the threat of the androids. The androids were advertised to be "more human than human" and humans accepted that nonsense. This notion reminds me of people marrying pillows, cartoon characters and silicone dolls to substitute human relationships and development on this earth recently. This movie reflects the plots and props of older films like "The Terminator," "I, robot," "Total Recall," and any other movie in which the created becomes the hunted and oppressed by its creators, and said creator send an informant who later converts. I doubt many men would accept the mechanical alteration of their children, and why would not the pregnant "protagonist" not accept her fully human baby but preferred her child to be robotic? The movie is entertaining but is a ploy for humanity to prefer artificial "life" over authentic life. For example, there were human male characters "in love" with robots who function in society as "adult women." Instead of accepting artificial objects as replacements for humanity, why not address the heart of humanity? Artificial objects being accepted as human replacements still poses the risk of those nonliving entities to become just as dangerous of the humans. This movie is art imitating life and the possibility of more avoidable catastrophes if caution is taken.
