I adore the musical and the film is ok but it does not do the Sondheim musical justice. James Corden can't sing and neither can Johnny Depp. They cut out so much too. I will watch it but it is nothing compared to the amazing musical it is bases on

It came out 3 years before I was born but it is one of my favourite films of all time. Emma Thompson is amazing as usual and although I actually prefer the second one, this is just as incredibly amazing. My parents who are in their 40s still happily enjoy this film as if (and quite rightly so) this is one of the best films ever made. The comedy. The drama. The romance. The saddness. Th magic. It has an amazing cast from Emma Thompson and Colin Firth to Imelda Staunton and Dame Angela lansbury.

They cut out so much (which I know is common in films) however it is also boring at parts and unenjoyable. I have watched it a few times and have found Keira Knghtly's acting in this incredibly bad however I do agree that over time she has gotten a lot better. I would rather advise people to watch the bbc Colin Firth and Jennifer Ehle version which is in my opinions perfection on so many levels. By all means if you are unaware of the story of pride and prejudice watch the 2005 film but it doesn't tell half the story and they miss out so much.

This is just an amazing film. So beautifully made. The entire movie is cast perfectly. I have no idea how many times I have seen this movie (and the first one) but its just perfection. Emma Thompson continues to wow audiences of every age. Such an amazing family movie. One of my absolute favourite movies of all time. I could watch it on repeat. An amazing story and message.

This movie is 10 years old... HOW? I was 2 when it came out but I have watched it getting close to a thousand times I think. Its one of those movies thats just the amzing, family, feel good movie and I probably watch it at least twice a month if not more. I watch a lot of Disney (I have seen all of the animated theatrical releases and nearly all the live actions as well as the sequels) but Tangled is my favourite out if all of them. Mother Gothel has just the right amount of creepiness to make her a proper Disney villain on a scale with Scar, Ursula and Gaston and Hans and the dramatic irony is just the right amount to make you believe she is just an over protective mother for a while. Pascal and Maximus are by far the greatest disney sidekicks Disney has created they don't talk but are just so perfectly hilarious. Rapunzel is a fearless princess with an amazing personality but Eugene "Flynn Ryder" Fitzherbert is by far the most logical, funniest disney male lead out there with Moana and maui, and Tiana and naveen coming in closely behind. I'd advise anyone with a sense of humor, who loves strong females, funny animals and a handsome prince and of course songs to watch this movie Immediately.
