I was watching one of Anand Gandhi's interviews yesterday where he was describing how he isn't a huge fan of breaking the fourth wall - instead, he focuses more on curating an immersive experience for the viewer.
You have to watch this movie in one sitting - don't even try to episodize it. Today while watching this movie, initially when the second story (of the monk) began, my mind kept wandering - kind of like when you're trying to sleep but your mind keeps trying to go on little journeys of its own, but then of course you have to bring it back to a state where you're not actively thinking about anything and just living, breathing. So initially I kept wondering how will this monk's story relate to the first story, or if it would, at all? To be honest, I had prepared myself for both situations, you know, like how good music is good music, be it a single or an album.
So anyway, by the end, I was so engrossed in the kidney-transplant story that when the camera panned into the monk smiling from one of the chairs, I had a brief moment of pure enlightenment-esque happiness.

What else can I say about the movie?! :)
