I love the story line which is starkly different from The Last Kingdom but the historical points are the same. The acting by Ragnor, the star of the show, is maddeningly annoying. In every situation, he has a smirk on his face. In battle, before the king, romantic scenes - smirk smirk smirk. Never changes. One dimensional. His dialogues tend to be stilted and lack depth because he always has that little smile. He sort of ruins the whole show.
