I was looking forwards to this film, but was let down watching it at the cinema. There's a lot of cringe inducing dialog including about one of Willa's friends which you may have seen in the adverts. Two of the key characters felt incredibly one dimensional on the verge of parody throughout which really sapped my enjoyment of the film. Benicio del Toro, on the other hand, is probably my favourite from this film. I do also think some of the cinematography was great, but it doesn't redeem the film. If you liked The Brutalist, you'll enjoy this film, if you didn't you won't.

Overly long, given it's a pure fiction, some of the randomness of characters actions just feels like oscar bait rather than anything worthwhile.
